Camp Crooked Creek, owned by the Lincoln Heritage Council, is part of the over 1,000-acre Old Kentucky Home Scout Reservation. The camp is conveniently located next to Bernheim Forest near Shepherdsville, Kentucky - just thirty minutes south of Louisville!
The property consists of rolling hills and knobs covered with a hardwood forest of oak, hickory, and beech. It's not unusual to see deer grazing outside your tent while turkey can be seen just a little deeper in the woods. Geese and ducks are found on the 70-acre lake stocked with bass, bream, and catfish.
The Camp first opened in the summer of 1988 and replaced Camp Covered Bridge, which was located in western Oldham County, Kentucky.
Camp Crooked Creek provides a well-trained staff to ensure that the nearly 3,500 campers can enjoy all of the activities in a safe environment.
